Schneider Electric has launched a Critical Power Competency Center to provide one-stop power management solutions to commercial and industrial end-users. The Center is based in Schneider Electric’s Nashville, Tenn., office and merges the company’s Power Management Operations and power consulting resources from facilities in LaVergne and Smyrna, Tenn., and Columbia, S.C. The cross-functional team of power experts is said to guide customers through every phase of a project, including power system design, order entry, project management and implementation.
Mark Bidinger, director of the Center, says its two primary objectives are to drive a programmatic, shared knowledge approach in using customer information, and to provide one-stop solutions through integrated application and execution. “We are concerned with quality and seamless execution of power system solutions for end-users,” notes Bidinger.
The Center works with multiple market channels, including generator manufacturers, universal power source manufacturers, paralleling switchgear manufacturers, electrical contractors and consulting engineers. Experts can be engaged by contractors, consultants, original equipment manufacturers and end-users.
Paris-based Schneider Electric’s North American Operating Division markets the Square D, Telemecanique and Merlin Gerin brands to customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
