Using an Ethernet connection, the gateway requires no special software and provides a user-friendly web interface that gives easy access to sensor data at a glance. Customizable setpoints can be programmed to trigger email and SMS alerts. Features include plug-and-play operation with other supported deeternet wireless hardware, all communicating via the IEEE 802.15.4 industrial wireless communication protocol. Most third-party sensors can be connected by adding an optional Wireless Sender. The gateway measures 200 x 200 x 55 mm and is supplied with an external power supply. Suggested applications are in small to medium sensor monitoring systems.
