Each unit is designed with six 10/100Tx fast Ethernet RJ45 ports, and two 100Fx fiber ports with either an SC or ST connector, and supports multi-mode, single-mode and WDM fiber modes. The switches feature high EFT, surge (2000 VDC) and ESD (6000 VDC) protection, as well as a dual power input design with reverse polarity protection, plus a built-in relay warning function to alert maintainers when power failures occur. Units are pre-loaded with "Layer 2" network management software that supports an ease of use Web Console or Telnet through the serial console by CLI configuration. All the company's managed switches provide ring network redundancy with RSTP and the ITU-G.8032 support, which eliminates the compatibility issue for any existing network concern. In addition, the built-in SNMP, VLAN, IGMP, QoS features support network planners to increase data transmission performance within the network. The external USB2.0 port allows the user to export and save all the configuration settings. Suggested applications include: power/utility, solar grids, windmills, mining infrastructures, factory/process control automation, ITS - roadway traffic control/monitoring, building facility outdoor infrastructures or security surveillance and access control systems. The units are IP30 rated, compact, fanless, DIN-Rail and wall mountable, and built to withstand shock, drop, vibration and electromagnetic interference. Standard temperature is-10 to 70 °C; extended temperature is-40 to 75 °C.
