The H series is a new range of command and signaling devices from Schmersal for hygiene-sensitive applications, particularly food processing. Characteristic features of the range of command and signaling devices are gap-free transitions between sealing elements and surfaces and an absence of protruding parts. The cover rings are stainless steel. The series is IP69 rated to withstand regular high temperatures and high-pressure washdowns. The H series is modular with snap-on contact carriers and individual contact blocks (1 NO or 1NC), which can be stacked to offer multiple contact configurations. The series can be mounted in a 22mm mounting hole with a notch to orientate the buttons correctly and prevent twisting in the hole. These command devices offer a range of different operators including pushbuttons, mushroom buttons, emergency-stop buttons and signal light indicators. In addition, there are selector switches with two or three positions, step switches from two to 12 positions, main disconnect switches and a potentiometer drive knob. The H series meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14159, EN 1672-2 and 10/2011/EU.
