The Rosemount 802 wireless multi-discrete input or output transmitter has eight discrete I/O channels, each one configurable as an input or an output. WirelessHART capability allows the transmitter to connect to a wireless gateway, which can link to a host such as a control system or asset management system via a wired connection. Power options include 10-30V direct current external line power or an Emerson SmartPower module. The Rosemount 802 transmitter is certified ATEX Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe, USA Division 2 Non-Incendive and Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe, Canada Division 2 Non-Incendive and Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe, and IECEx Zone 2 Intrinsically Safe. The device enclosure is rated according to NEMA 4X and IP66.
