Hilscher Showcases Embedded and Gateway Communication Devices | Based on the netX controller family of chips, Hilscher’s industrial communication devices include gateways, protocol converters and proxies. Taking center stage at its display at The Automation Conference 2013 is Hilscher’s netTAP product, which is capable of performing hundreds of different protocol conversions. Also on display was Hislcher’s netLINK Proxy, which converts Profibus signals to Profinet.
