Baumer has released the EB360 bearingless multi-turn magnetic encoder with a compact design for precise feedback in challenging environments. With wear-free operation and a modular, space-saving design, its non-contact sensing principle ensures reliability. The encoder, available as a single or multi-turn module, supports various interfaces and features IP67 or optional IP69K protection. It has corrosion-resistant housing, high resistance to vibration and shocks, and operates in temperatures from -40ºC to 85 ºC. The EB360 is compatible with SSI, CANopen and SAE J1939 interfaces.
The HS35iQ encoder with PulseIQ technology is a programmable hollow-shaft encoder offering real-time troubleshooting capabilities. Featuring color-coded LEDs and digital output, it provides fault indications to prevent downtime. With IP67 rating, shock and vibration resistance, and programmable resolution up to 20,000 PPR, it is suitable for heavy-duty applications. The patented technology detects coupling slip and overspeed, ensuring machinery safety. PulseIQ software allows configuration of various parameters, reducing troubleshooting time. The encoder’s resolution, phase direction, ABZ/fault output voltage, Z index pulse polarity, position and gating can be customized for a variety of applications.
The Netzer VLM-60 multi-turn, hollow-shaft absolute rotary encoder is a low-profile encoder often used in multi-axis machinery, servo motors, machine tools, robots and process machine manufacturing. A 17-bit single-plus-15-bit multi-turn resolution ensures continuous production since the master reads the multi-turn positions from the encoder at start-up and throughout the operation. In case of a power outage or machine shutdown, the VLM-60 maintains the multi-turn absolute position by utilizing an internal battery or an external power source. The VLM-60 is resistant to harsh environmental conditions and possesses magnetic field immunity.
Posital’s IXARC programmable incremental rotary encoders with fractional pulse rates simplify control system setup for conveyor and web applications. These encoders offer a reliable alternative to traditional optical models, featuring magnetic sensing technology and IP66/67 environmental protection. Key performance characteristics can be adjusted via software parameters. Fractional pulse rates can be set anywhere from 0.125 PPR to 8 PPR in steps of 0.125 PPR. Communications interfaces are programmable, with push-pull (HTL) or RS422 (TTL) outputs available. Connector pin-outs can be arranged to match other products, such as the Photocraft units.
