A former EDS executive, Paulett Eberhart to head up Invensys push to meet efficiency and safety needs of automation customers.

Invensys plc has announced that Paulett Eberhart, a former EDS Corp. executive, has been appointed chief executive officer and president of Invensys’ Process Systems division, headquartered in Foxboro, Mass. Ken Brown, who has served as acting president of Invensys Process Systems since last June will re-assume his former position as general manager of the division’s Measurements & Instruments business unit.Eberhart joined Electronic Data Systems Corp. (EDS), the Plano, Texas-based global technology services company, in 1978. She held a number of senior roles within EDS, most recently as president of its largest operating unit, the Americas. Other roles included senior vice president and president, solutions consulting, and senior vice president, information solutions.Ulf Henriksson, chief executive of London-based Invensys plc, commented: “Our customers in industrial automation are increasingly seeking solutions and services that improve the efficiency and safety of their operations and—with the recent launch of our Asset Performance Management strategy—we have been adapting our business model to ensure that we address these needs.
