3~40 Watt Range of Railway / Industrial DC-DC Converters with 36~160 VDC Input

Nov. 11, 2021
EN50155 and EN61373 certified with UL/EN/IEC 62368-1 safety approvals.

TRACO POWER announces the new TEN-WIRH range of 3~40 watt high-reliability DC-DC converters in compact and fully encapsulated footprints with an ultra-wide, 4:1 input range of 36~160 VDC.

The TEN-WIRH series includes 5 power platforms covering 3 / 6 / 10 / 20 / 40 Watt power levels with single and dual outputs ranging 3 ~ 24 VDC and high efficiency operation up to 90%. All models feature 3,000 VAC reinforced I/O Isolation; an internal filter for EN 50121-3-2 compliance (EMC for Rolling Stock) and meet EN55032 Class A Emissions (conducted & radiated); Remote on/off control; and embedded protection from under-voltage input, short-circuit, over-temperature and over-voltage conditions. Single output models have a minimum +/-10% output adjustment range. The proven and certified design guarantees highest resistance against thermal shocks, moisture, mechanical shocks, and vibration. With an extended operating temperature range of -40°C up to +95°C without derating (depending on the series/model) makes them ideal for harsh environment applications in both railway and industrial applications.

All models are EN 50155 certified which includes EN 61373 for mechanical shock and vibration and EN 45545-2 for fire behavior. The TEN-WIHR series are IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 approved for IT & industrial electronics equipment and supported with a 3 year product warranty.

Products are in stock and available through TRACO POWER’s global distribution network with manufacturing lead times of 14-16 weeks. Please see https://tracopower.com/ten-wirh-series for specifications, drawings, and safety documentation.
