Beckhoff Automation: Stainless Steel, Flush-mounted Option for Control Panels

The built-in CP62xx series panel PCs and CP66xx and CP69xx series control panels for cabinet mounting are now available in a flush-mounted design with stainless steel that complies with requirements of the food, packaging and medical industries.
The panels prevent moisture deposits and contamination; in addition, a custom front laminate cover is available that enables flush mounting of the panels onto control cabinets. They offer application options that range from simple panels for HMI visualization to complete automation controllers when used with the company's TwinCAT automation software. The panels can optionally be equipped with an IP 67 USB port for reliable connection in the field. The same display dimensions as the existing panel models are retained in 5.7, 12, 15 or 19-inch versions. Units available with the stainless steel option include the CP69xx built-in Control Panel with DVI/USB Extended connection that can be operated up to 50 m away from the PC; the CP66xx built-in Control Panel with Ethernet port and Intel IXP420 processor that can be used as an independent Panel PC, remote desktop display or server terminal; and the CP62xx built-in Panel PC, a complete control hardware solution in conjunction with TwinCAT.
