The C-more CM5 series provides many hardware options with a variety of screen sizes and communication capabilities. The CM5 line offers HMIs from 4-in to 22-in. With a 1.6GHz processor in the larger units (10-in. and above) and 43Mbytes of memory, these HMIs provide better trending, extra data storage, faster communication and improved file types. CM5 HMIs support FTP, HTTPS and the secure lightweight MQTT protocol. The free CM5 programming software offers a selection of easily configured drag-and-drop objects including pushbuttons, switches and numeric displays. There are also numerous tools and a simulator to aid in creating and validating projects.
The CP39xx panels offer diagonals ranges from seven to 24 inches, 4:3 or widescreen format, standard or customized models, aluminum housing, an integrated rotatable and tiltable mounting arm adapter, and various connection techniques such as DVI/USB for distances of up to 50m between the PC and control panel. The CP-Link 4 and One Cable Technology allow for distances of up to 100m. All necessary controller boards are developed by Beckhoff and manufactured in-house. Compact mounting arm adapters developed by Beckhoff are also available.
Idec has expanded its SmartAxis touch family with the new FT2J Series combined PLC+HMI. A compact all-in-one form factor combines built-in full function controller features and functions, both onboard and expandable I/O, and a 7-in. touchscreen display. End users perform configuration with an intuitive integrated development environment. The integrated PLC and HMI each have their own dedicated CPU and user memory and they communicate natively with each other. Built-in I/O includes 14 points of DC discrete inputs and 4 points of analog inputs. The FT2J supports up to two expansion cartridges of discrete or analog I/O. These units are: low maintenance; operable in temperatures from -20˚C to 55˚C; IP66 and IP67 rated for wash-down areas; IP66F and IP67F for oil resistance; and UL60101, UL Type 4X/12/13 and Class I Div 2 certified.
The WP4101AP HTML5 powered web HMI comes with a built-in Chromium browser and1000 nit high brightness screen with capacitive touch technology. It features two ARM Cortex-A9 CPUs and a 1024 x 600-pixel resolution. It can be paired with Maple Systems’ Industrial embedded box PCs or headless HMIs. The WP4101AP HMI also features a UL Class I Division 2 rating and an IP66 rating for washdown environments.
